Yeah, dungeons are a higher level of complexity and buy-in than they necessarily want in a premier set. But in a supplemental set, maybe
And I personally love dungeons. I have two different decks built around it
It's survival!
Re: Venture into the House
I definitely feel the dungeon approach, but I also very much agree with WotC's hesitancy about extra decks/player aides. Dungeons, as they are, come with a variety of flaws. Some of that actually gets addressed with an extra deck, but extra decks bring their own issues.
I rate "venture into the house" tentatively higher than "venture into the dungeon". I'm happy it's not in the actual Duskmourn though.
See Plucky Investigator.
See Survivors' Van.
See Investigate the Noise.
See Improved Glimmerlight.
See Venture into the House.
Bonus duskmourn card
See Bountiful Fields.
See Jonesing Adventurer.
See Donate (Not the Urza's Destiny One).
That one scene where he swaps the idol for a bag of sand
How silly can we get with gift?
For attacking creatures, yeah. I don't want you to turtle up (heh) with a wall deck
It is a snapping turtle. The horrors don't have other creature types though
I have no idea how strong mesmeric orb would be in an actual graveyard environment. Enabling your opponent's delirium would probably be pretty bad
Surprised it's not a snapping turtle. 🐢
How strong is this? It mills a lot for lands tapped to keep casting your spells, but it's also inherently part of an environment featuring delirium. Is that strong on a 5cmc 3/3 gold rare?
I don't get the grander idea behind restricting the second ability to tapped creatures. Is it supposed to be a foxy way to filter for attacking creatures or does this card somehow dislike vigilance?
See Shellshield Glimmer.
See Sandy Nest // Horrifying Hatchery.
Yes. It's not a safe design, but I think it's funny
Is this supposed to return itself as a 1/1 Glimmer after first turning into a noncreature enchantment?
