That isn't really even a drawback since you can also use it to protect it from removal or whatever.
3/1 for isn't really balanced. 2/1 would be much safer that's for sure. Maybe 2/2 so it's still very strong, but doesn't steal games that quickly?
Narrooow. Eyeing through the set, I see only Frozen Pandemic and Bone Chilling that this would work against so it would already be better if it just said "hexproof from black". That being said, it would still suck IMO. I could see this being a with equip for . restriction with equip definitely doesn't seem necessary.
Missing p/t, probably 1/1?
Is this costed right? Also the snow supertype looks weird coming before the color on the token.
It's just one mechanic.
For a snow theme, you've sure got a lot of "Whatever you do - don't play snow!" cards.
People wanted a 2/2 for 2
I can't resist shout-out card designs.
-2 changed to -1.
Now has a working morbid
I was kind of wondering what you meant by repeatability being an issue, but now I think I got it. I don't think the keyword is an problem here, it's the effect you attached to it. Think landfall for example; you pretty much made a Caustic Crawler here that's attached to a small body that you can play anytime and is of lower rarity. For comparison, Surrakar Marauder / Hagra Crocodile were done as black common landfall dudes.
With this composition of flavor and mechanics, it makes me think that something kin to Exemplar of Strength / Channeler Initiate could be a fit.
Ie
> Thawing X (This enters with X -1/-1 counter(s) on it. Whenever you cast a nonsnow spell, remove a -1/-1 counter from this if it has any.)
It's a drawback though...
Edited to follow Tahazzar's suggestion. Currently, the frozen mechanic name clashes with the flavor idea. The name will be changed to Thawing at this iteration. I added first time each turn because I would rather have abilities like this at common than be repeatable and pushed up in rarity.
