Also wow - that's one huge elf. Probably should name it so that it's an entire diaspora of elves making up that much power.
And... evasive hexproof is a bad bad thing. I probably need to nuke this completely.
I should think about maybe making this an elf.
I really need to tighten this cycle up - some of them care about themselves being destroyed; some (like this one) also care about other lands.
Note that they back up the crafting artifacts from the previous set; by making you want to (or at least not be so unhappy about) sacrificing lands.
Use this form of prot-damage; it can be deathtouched now, I think?
The reasoning behind this wording was both "Ok, you better block it" and also "You did block it? Well, now I explode your creature and it's big again"
On the flip side - I don't think 6/6 trample for 5 is actually big enough to be surprising, any more.
as suggested - makes it kinda wordy though.
Sounds like this is causing controversy - so it's either about right or a touch too strong. So reduce the cost; but add a downside that is usually very serious but in-set is potentially less so. Also; that serpent really loves to destroy islands.
Really badly; yeah.
Um. Well; it clearly is one.
It almost certainly shouldn't be, though.
I have no certainty what I was referring to then, but I think:
Gatherer finds three 'Indomitable' cards'; Indomitable Will, Indomitable Ancients and Indomitable Archangel.
Three rarities, spanning multiple sets - all white defence stuff.
"Indomitable" was a what?
Is this meant to be a 2/2 for
?
Strongly tempted to put Elvish Lorekeeper into this spot instead.
Hooolleeee CRAP. Did I really give black a board-clearer at common?
TODO: Shunt this out to at least uncommon, and probably rare. Find a replacement common.
name it (badly) - I keep thinking from the skeleton it's not made
name it enough I don't think it's uncreated from skeleton

It's Laquatus's Creativity, except it's dependent on your opponent having a large number of cards in hand, as opposed to you building your deck around it. Seeing the Creativity is sporting 2.533 stars right now, I'd say this is right on target.
I don't know, I think it's alright. Consider that Forbidden Alchemy digs your library 4 deep at instant speed for only
, and that Faithless Looting draws and discards two cards for only
. And both have flashback.
This card seems insane! if you get three cards for 4 mana only, it still a huge upside. And the discard wont even matter you get exactly what you need.
Cool ability.
Just realised this combo's so nicely with "Sac if you don't" lands, too. But still, no better than "
:Untap target land" and usually worse.
WaS:
: Add one mana to your mana pool of any colour a land in your graveyard could produce (if it was in play and not in your graveyard, I mean, we don't just... ok, yes we do. Scratch that....
And then became what it is. Needs comprule support (stuff in graveyards can't normally be tapped, of course)
Concept of "Get land of colour in graveyard" Shamelessly stolen from Iscandar Lives - but this set is allll about lhaving had lots of land destruction and overcoming that; so.
Thank thesaurus for silly temporary name "Dreamer of the past" is terrible too.
