Referencing Soldevi Serpent. Every set needs some dig, right?

This card seems insane! if you get three cards for 4 mana only, it still a huge upside. And the discard wont even matter you get exactly what you need.

I don't know, I think it's alright. Consider that Forbidden Alchemy digs your library 4 deep at instant speed for only {2}{u}, and that Faithless Looting draws and discards two cards for only {r}. And both have flashback.

It's Laquatus's Creativity, except it's dependent on your opponent having a large number of cards in hand, as opposed to you building your deck around it. Seeing the Creativity is sporting 2.533 stars right now, I'd say this is right on target.

Sounds like this is causing controversy - so it's either about right or a touch too strong. So reduce the cost; but add a downside that is usually very serious but in-set is potentially less so. Also; that serpent really loves to destroy islands.
