I second that, probably a good change.
Maybe this could be
? I like the simplicity of the card and dont want to add to much else. We could add drawing, and just keep it costed as it is.
Maybe if this fits into the Xibals theme we could change it into Insect tokens? Like 1/1 green and black Insects with flying perhaps? I feel like they should have their own tokens. Other options are the Insect tokens from Hornet Queen (1/1 green flying and deathtouch) or Spiders (1/2 green reach), but we should have the same small tokens for each
card.
I think its simple enough as it is, at common we dont need to really worry about them attacking planeswalkers. Did think about changing it though but I dont think its worth the added complexity.
WB limited archetype card. Supports DFCs theme through enchantment matters.
Changed power to 2 from 1
Removed color restriction on front side, changed back side to deal damage on attack.
GU multicolor uncommon for limited. Unbound enabler.
Note that tapping for colorless mana is something blue can do.
corrected color order
Maybe it should be toughness f the theme for
is going to be small toughness though?
changed CMC to power
I thought I already changed it to power, thats what it should have been originally. Fixed now
Corrected wording 'when ~ transforms'->'when this creature transforms into ~'
Corrected wording '
'->'{3]
'
Corrected wording 'when you discard a card'->'whenever you discard a card'
Goblin Darkdwellers is the inspiration for this card. Granting flashback/pseudo-flashback is blue/red.
Might want to change the wording to 'whenever a creature an opponent controls attacks'. Would be clearer functionality in 2HG and work better in multiplayer and when you have planeswalkers. It's longer wording though, which is particularly important for common, so I'm not quite sure which is better.
Corrected wording 'when ~ becomes tapped'->'whenever ~ becomes tapped'. Just for reference, with when vs whenever, the rule is whether it's likely to occur multiple times in a game, then it's whenever not when.
I reckon we could push this to costing

if we move it to rare, maybe even regardless, compared to Banishing Light and Stasis Snare.
Maybe it should simply deal 2 damage when it attacks? Would be more red, and simpler, which is something we should probably focus on right now given how complex a lot of these DFCs are.
I like this version. "Exile the top three cards of your library. Until end of turn, you may play cards exiled this way. You may play an additional land this turn."
Would be quite strong at three CMC though, maybe 4 CMC would be better.
Instant speed on board combat tricks and referencing converted mana cost BOTH on a common is probably too much complexity wise. I'd change the grave return to be based on power. It's shorter as well, also good for common.
