I like how having cards like this encourage you to play a bunch of lands and ways to get out lands, which pushes players to realizing that both those things are good for Discovery, as well as providing a more diverse set of payoffs for doing those things than just Discovery.
I reckon this could be a 2/5.

You're probably right, discovery does enough on its own to encourage playing different lands.
Yeah wasnt really thinking about the fact it replaces itself as well as giving deathtouch so unlike other spells that give deathtouch it wouldn't be that bad for the caster.

I don't think we want many cards like these with psuedo discovery. We don't want to push that specific theme too hard. I'd just make it a 2/2 and trigger for any land drop.
Recommend making the creature a 1/2 and the basic landcycling ability . The basic landcycling part is currently VERY powerful.
Cycling seems OP on this one. I recommend costing at . Also the may clause seems redundant.
