Hah, no, the most important part of Urza's Armor is that it protects you from your own Pestilence and Last Laugh! :P
But yeah, this looks like a heck of a card, but at a cost to match. And it doesn't do much against big stompy guys, so I can believe that games do still end.
Interesting. A not brilliant but not terrible creature, that replaces itself? I quite like the looks of that.
I think the reason no one picked your angel was that they were too busy picking all the other juicy white creatures.
White thrulls already exist, and I'm sure we'll be seeing a few more when we return to Ravnica.

It's true. I built 20XX to be easy to Wisdom, but most people didn't trust me. They drafted Leonin Spader, true, because they figured they could pull that off easily. But a 5cc card? My hand is empty by that point!
Jokes on them I guess, eh?
This would probably be the card that people kept taking over Serra Penitent, which I was complaining about earlier. I thought it looked goofy and interesting, but wasn't really a contender. Others disagreed, and snatched this guy up. I was never that impressed, even when it worked.
Dunno, but it's an evil combo of "No really, I'm invulnerable, stop trying to break the lock, it won't work" with your Sphere enchantment.
Seems odd to see a white thrull.
I have no idea whether the 'regenerate target enchantment' clause is worth it. I'd always forget it was an option, since it was so rare an event compared to regenerating creatures. Does that make the ability bad, because people forget it exists, and makes people feel bad when they could have used it/walked into it? Or is it good, because it gives hidden value, and makes players feel clever when it matters and they realize it? I have no idea...
Hoses a token deck utterly... but that's a good thing.
Most games probably equivalent to "Gain ten life" I guess? I can see the risk of this turning into complete invulnerability, glad it worked out not to happen.
Well, looking at it - it doesn't leap out to me as particularly high on the pick list.
It's cost 5, it only gains flying under circumstances that will never occur by the time I have 5 mana on the table ... so it's just a 3/4 vanilla for 5. Which isn't particularly bad or anything; it's just not screaming "Pick me!" at me.
Obviously, it's destined to be one of those "underrated by most, but those in the know pick it" cards :)
If Sphere of Purity wasn't broken, then how about this? It turns out... not broken. I was kind of scared, to be honest. I thought someone would put together a deck of 13th pick Sphere of Hopes and Circle of Malignments, but it just didn't happen. Which is kind of funny, considering this is the most important part of Urza's Armor.
Whenever I drafted Magic 20XX, this card would drag me into white. I value it as one of the best commons in the set... 3/4 splashable fliers for 5 are great, and if you don't need the flying immediately, you don't have to be as conservative with your cards. Other players didn't seem to agree. At least, that's the impression I'd get after drafting so many of these damn things.
Hey, another card from the 'cycles from play' cycle. I don't think I need to explain why this card does a good job doing what it does.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, from Wikipedia: "Retaining walls are built in order to hold back earth which would otherwise move downwards. Their purpose is to stabilize slopes and provide useful areas at different elevations, e.g. terraces for agriculture, buildings, roads and railways."
I was really pleased with myself when I came up with a fair common Balance effect. I set it at

where it could do some damage, but not threaten game balance and moved on. Unfortunately, testing showed me that that non-threatening number wasn't worth building around, and players often bumped Realign to 15th card in pack. It now has a spicier casting cost, and plays a more active role, but it isn't really breaking anything, so we're all good.
