We probably don't want demons or vampires in Aer, but I struggled to find an appropriate flavour. I imagine some Aer reacting to the situation by embracing the "as god" things and repressing the monocoloured tribes as hard as possible.

P/T, cost, and ability are just guesses, but I was thinking of splashy R/B creature. I tried to think of an ability which stacked more with multiple card draw, and this does sometimes, but not most of the time.

"Lose 1 life" is mostly there for the flavour, it could increase or be removed.

I'm worried it might be too strong, so I gave it an expensive cost, but Defiler of Souls is basically similar.

I imagine a portion of the Aerans would like to ignore the plight of the Gloaming and continue their life on as normally as possible, and some would want to repress them purposefully, but I liked jmgariepy's idea that a faction of them would feel bad for the creatures of the Gloaming and start a bit of dissent within the Aeran population.

This is a very nice powerful effect, very suited to mythic. I have a feeling either the cost should go down by {1} or the P/T up by 1, but either way, great submission.
