For Black Commons Submissions.
I really like the flavor on this.

Is it going to be too weird for the spirits not to have flying?

Does having two black in the casting cost mean it can be slightly more versatile than Doom Blade?

Like Chained Minotaur and Callous Master, this needs help on the drawback vs. strength, I think.

Attempting to make a minotaur that makes sense in black. I think it worked, but you can argue, if you wish.
Again, I'm not sure about the drawback vs. the strength.
For Black Commons Submissions.
Not sure about the downside vs. power on this one.

I decided to go with a fortification theme in this chunk of submissions, rather than land. For one, fortifications are distinct. There hasn't been a color that cared about them before, so black hopefully won't feel weird doing so.
This means that we have to have some artifacts specifically allocated to the black portion of the set, though. Of course, there's nothing wrong with the Aerans having some fortifications, too, though I don't know how we'd indicate who they belong to other than calling it out in the names.

This card presents an interesting problem, because we wanted to have zero flying in the monocolors. Harpies are such a perfect fit for flavor, though, and I can't picture them without flying. I guess we should do away with harpies and make this another creature type.
Also, we would need six people to be arbitrate, since multicolor is its own sect.
I'll probably make entires for black and red commons, and then put mine in.
