ABSUUUUURD at B.
Yeh I agree this should be replaced
Do you know where on the curve you want it? I have trouble figuring out when to plan around thing that are not in the skeleton. Would Isolated Citizen play better as a 1W 2/2 or is being small important for the flavor?
I liked that I was able to make him the same size as his tokens but it isn't needed. If my opponent has 1 big creature, I feel better attacking with 3 1/1s then I would with 2 1/1s and a 2/1
We have a bunch of 1 cmc uncommon revolt cards, can this be higher on the curve?
I'm not sure how much fixing we honestly need. Most mana requirements are pretty soft so not having 1 mountain is really not too much of a problem.
Hm. I wonder if they could have used "transform" and "untransform" for front-to-back and back-to-front?
No, what the clause does is say that if a permanent transforms, all abilities that would cause it to transform further are ignored.
It's kind of an ugly rule.
I think the "no flippy-floppy" had something about only effecting abilities that flip the source of the ability. But I think we just need an intervening if condition in the ability.
Having a 3/3 body as well makes some difference. This reminds me more of Student of Elements. But he needed you to distort your deck in a weird way. This requires you to distort your deck, but in a solid archetype-driven way.
Might not be a problem. Feel free to try it. But definitely keep an eye on it.
Recharge doesn't fix. If you're
and you don't have a Mountain, Pioneer Researcher can't help you.
We do have Prepare a Hideout.
It's definitely scary, I agree.
I don't think we need the text "
: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool", except for maybe on Mana Drone. There are enough fixing like things thanks to Recharge that I don't think that's necessary.
If anything, it should probably be a land search thing, but I am not sure if that is actually on file/planesculptors
Well that's precedent. I still don't care for such things.
Levitation.
I did too, but it overlaps with Apathetic Mage. In order to test that one, I decided to swap out the original Fireman with this version.
I thought that this and Pioneer Researcher would actually play out quite differently. but you're probably right there. I think this could be a Lifespring Druid functional reprint if we brought down a 3-cmc creature to a 2-cmc. Or we could just make this something else.
There are too many two drop "mana" creatures in green. Two of them recharge. This feels the weakest between Pioneer Researcher and the other etb recharge guy who I don't think is in the skeleton.
I'm gonna playtest my version, just to see how it plays in comparison to this version.
I'm not sure why this needed the change? I really liked how the original played
This looks to be quite strong in the canisters archetype. If you could power it out by turn three or four, and then get a couple counters on it. Scary.
Reordered abilities to reflect each other on each side. Looks a little better I think
I feel like those colorless activations look ugly. I don't suppose we're using hybrid for the abilities of any other cards?
Alternatively; could we have activated abilities on each of the cards in this cycle? Using the color of each side, so each is actually for a two-colour pair?
A bit more straightforward than mine. Not sure how I feel about the unrestricted team evasion on an uncommon 3-drop, rebel or not.
