This is fine as a 2-drop, it just conflicts with War Campaigner. Right now we are pretty solid on black's uncommon curve. It could do with one or two more 2-drop creatures alongside War Campaigner, maybe a 1-drop, and maybe a ramp target at 6CMC.

Heh, colourshifting half of Give // Take to the other half's colour :) But it does work in green too.

I prefer this to Wisdom of the Strong, I think? Wisdom seems crazy bonkers in a theme deck and too unreliable for a serious deck, which... I guess means it's fine for Timmy and Johnny... hmm.
