Another possibility for Equipment-matters, and another hole-filling design.
Trying to fill in missing slots in the skeleton. This guy is also to encourage Equipment.
Nice idea, Jay. I think that works.
Ah, I see. Right now, we're actually not cutting based on criteria, but more just cleaning up the skeleton so it only accurately portrays what has been for-sure decided to be in. For example, this card was designed directly into the skeleton (alongside many of the others in the recent cuts), rather than designed first then added to the skeleton later. Once we see all the options we have, then we'll add them to the skeleton afterwards.
Cards that have been cut from the skeleton aren't off the table, in other words. They're just not locked in the skeleton either.
I think my problem is that the exile can't feel like "save for later" Timmy would be happy if the back side is a big red enchantment like furnace of rath or "Creatures must attack and get haste and doublestrike when they ETB" and other psychographics enjoy making sure they have the right hand/board when it comes online. If you like referencing the exiled cards it could be something like "Discard a card that shares a name with an exiled card: deal 3 damage to something"
Thanks. That information is helpful. Vital, even. Everyone but you and Doombringer had no context for this large round of cuts, which means we can't work effectively (and the lack of communications makes us feel irrelevant).
Agree with Jackal about it not quite justifying DFC:

, Exile a card from your hand: Draw a card.
As long as five or more cards are exiled by ~, you may play them.
At the beginning of the end step, if you played any cards exiled by ~, sacrifice it.
Agree with Jay. This really should just stand on its own.
That question is kinda philosophical, Jay.
Right now this isn't in the skeleton because we have a lot of 2-drops
This would be acceptable bleed as a sorcery, but not as an instant. I think 'can't block' is better in red anyway.
It doesn't want to be a single ability because it has a lot of flavor to it, too.
I think this is fun for lots of the psychographics. It promises 'one big turn'. It gives red some powerful and interesting card advantage. And it's interesting strategically in what you decide to put in.
Jackal, I'll freely admit that the backside isn't very red. That is my mistake. It's not a break, I think, but it's definitely a sizable bleed. This was originally blue, but the frontside is so red...
I really like the front side, but the backside definitely needs work. I'll take suggestions.
Other than red card advantage what is the most fun thing about this card? I am also not a fan of transforming and sacrificing in the same turn. It all feels like it wants to be a single ability except that it is too complicated to fit on a card.
I think everyone needs to use more words for this to be a conversation. Personally I am not a fan of the R instant tap effect. Perhaps it could be a sorcery and maybe say "can't block".
what is happening?
?
@Jackal: Maybe "At your end step, exile a card. If you draw a card. Then, if exiled 5..."
Why spoil an effect like QUADRUPLE YOUR TOKENS with other text?
Mythic?
Sure. It could also be uncommon or 4WW.
With the current wording you can't make a thopter and put a counter on it. New players might think that they can. It is probably fine to leave as is unless you want that to be an option, just something to think about. If you choose each option and your target get removed you don't get the thopter. This can be solved by making each option target like Savage Alliance and that is added fun for multiplayer.
W Uncommon probably wants a flyer bigger than a thopter. I'm thinking one of the revolution ones (we currently have no flying revolution in the skeleton) It probably wouldn't hurt to have a W Uncommon creature with clear synergy in the WG deck. The deck isn't hurting for options but there isn't an obvious signpost there.
precedence Silent Arbiter
"Under the Radar"?
I'm not a fan of most 'develop' cards. I like this one however.
Seems like a solid limited aura
Seems totally reasonable. Fine card. Shockingly not meant for here.
