This card is a miss for me. It doesn't interact with the set's themes, it doesn't feel legendary, it doesn't do anything I haven't seen a billion times before, and the card could easily have been monocolored.

As a 2/2 for 1W, this is just a leetle better than Stonybrook Schoolmaster. Adjusted to 2W, which is still close to strictly better than SS.
I don't think it's too bad. It doesn't do anything at all until you drop an enchantment after it. I'd like to see how it plays before changing it, at least.
Good points, well made. I fear this and its black mirror need junking and replacing.

The template on this is nasty, perhaps irredeemably so. First, it probably wants to reveal the cards and check what they are before sending them all to the graveyard, but that would conflict with the "draw a card" ability. Second, the Rogue ability refers to "that player" in slightly confusing context; "that opponent" would be clearer. Third, causing another group of cards to be revealed confuses the antecedent for "them" in the next two abilities.

Having played against it, I don't think it's a problem at 2R. It doesn't affect the board state at all. It does mean the red mage has time on his side, but I kinda like that. Incentives to make the game not drag on indefinitely. Nonetheless, I'd be interested in others' thoughts.
Sadly this ends up being strictly inferior to Sylvan Scrying. However, the power of the others in the cycle mean that I don't want to make these Instants.

Yeah. I was thinking of "if ~ is in your graveyard at the beginning of your upkeep, win the game if..." but I can't think of any good wording.
Of if it can't be a sorcery or an enchantment, maybe it could be a creature or an artifact?

I agree entirely. It is exactly a Sorcery Dark Banishing, so costing Banishing-minus-1 seems right - but I certainly wouldn't pick it as highly as DB or DB.
Was pretty good in the draft, but could perhaps be 3UUU rather than 4UUU, as it's often tricky to use all four modes.
I love the flavour text.
I like the simplicity of the wording here, but there's a subtle problem now that the rules say Scheme, Plane and Vanguard are card types. How much damage does a Tarmoblast do with this activated?
I love the flavour text.
Kookily, this works on artifact creatures to change their P/T. It'll kill an Ornithopter or Memnite.
...there are slightly more pictures of ogres than orcs out there :)
But yeah, make it do 1 damage to you when you untap it, or something.

Probably better than Minister of Impediments. Comparable to Fatestitcher.
