Is a single extra mana really worth that much advantage over Prodigal Sorceror? It also just doesn't feel like an Orc without the extra joke or drawback. None of your Orcs really do; how would you feel about making them all Ogres instead?
Almost-strictly worse than Aphetto Alchemist, but I want to keep the mirror with Stiller of Tongues. Still not a bad card.

Seemed very good in the draft. But its concealer ability didn't become relevant, so it was effectively worse than Neurok Invisimancer. Even so, it might still be too good in limited.
It gives you potentially about four free counterspells over the course of the rest of the game. It lets you tap out and still be free to counter or do random other stuff if your opponents do anything. I wouldn't say that's undercosted.

Strictly better than Touch of Invisibility. Not that that matters.
Kookily, this works on artifact creatures to change their P/T. It'll kill an Ornithopter or Memnite.

People keep calling this land broken. To me it seems like a tweak on the Karoos like Boros Garrison. Are there any Shamans it's particularly crazy with?
The flavor text adds so much to this card; I sincerely hope it fits, with or without the first two words.

Trancebam suggests this could tap for R rather than colourless.
Absolutely. I loved untapping Mangara of Corondor, and this guy is a deliberate attempt to enable the same thing slightly more easily. It's still not very easy to trigger him, but there are enough ways for it to be interesting.

Fair comment. It actually wasn't originally legendary - I just made it so (and upped the power a bit) when three of the other gold rares became legendary. I'll see if I can find another design for him.
...None of which is to discount your good suggestion of a way of reducing the cost. 6 was probably somewhat excessive anyway. But I don't think I like the triggered wording: it'd be something like "Whenever a creature attacks and isn't blocked, its controller may pay N and sacrifice it. If that player does, destroy target permanent of that player's choice." Either that or "All creatures have 'Whenever this creature attacks and isn't blocked, you may pay N and sacrifice it. If you do, destroy target permanent.'"

This card is a miss for me. It doesn't interact with the set's themes, it doesn't feel legendary, it doesn't do anything I haven't seen a billion times before, and the card could easily have been monocolored.
