Well, as much of a counterspell as drain power, which is often good enough. Locks them out for a turn if they've got an 'x' or a repeatable '1' ability anywhere on the table.

Hm, the comparison to Prodigal Pyromancer is well made. But compare with Jeska, Warrior Adept (and Lightning Crafter). I should perhaps tweak the numbers here. As for Orciness, I'm just trying to avoid making Goblins because I don't like Goblins. Not all Orcs have drawbacks.

...there are slightly more pictures of ogres than orcs out there :)
But yeah, make it do 1 damage to you when you untap it, or something.
Is a single extra mana really worth that much advantage over Prodigal Sorceror? It also just doesn't feel like an Orc without the extra joke or drawback. None of your Orcs really do; how would you feel about making them all Ogres instead?

The card reads very well, until you realize that the targets would have to be chosen before the sacrifices. It would feel better to make the sacrifice/s be an additional cost.
Was pretty good in the draft, but could perhaps be 3UUU rather than 4UUU, as it's often tricky to use all four modes.

You think? It's less than a full Orrery - it only applies to sorceries. Other creatures at RR include Stigma Lasher, Blood Knight and Warren Instigator, all of which have effective 2 power and pretty strong effects. Do others think the power here is too high? I'm sure I could make him a 2/2 for 2R, but I might prefer not to.

This is definitely a mythic rare, and probably undercosted. Unfortunately, it can feel horribly bad when you suddenly lose to a spell, which is why alternate victories tend to be from upkeep triggers on permanents. On the other hand, Coalition Victory shows us that it's printable, and the flavor of your world requires that it be a sorcery. The good news is that instant-speed creature removal can still disrupt it, so it's not entirely noninteractive.
This is the first name that feels more like a design name than a finished product. For an artifact, it feels very red; however, it might do even better on blue or white defensive bodies.
No, I mean exile a creature card, then when someone casts a spell the right size, make it an instant so that I can bring it out.

It gives you potentially about four free counterspells over the course of the rest of the game. It lets you tap out and still be free to counter or do random other stuff if your opponents do anything. I wouldn't say that's undercosted.

You mean like Cunning Wish? No, for two reasons - firstly, Exiled cards are still in the game; secondly, you can't demonstrate that the card has the required quality.

Feels overcosted at four, since it's pretty hard to use.
But on the flip side - can I target the stuff I exiled with it with the "This is an instant, honest" cards?

Took the ability from Ecriot Plans, replacing Grimoire of the Don which was very close to the effect of Don Condri.
