I guess I could kill the black and blue concealer abilities, as they're fiddly and don't do very much, but leave the concealers in the colours that get permanents.
It gives you potentially about four free counterspells over the course of the rest of the game. It lets you tap out and still be free to counter or do random other stuff if your opponents do anything. I wouldn't say that's undercosted.

Awesome. Thanks.
"Oppression of the Weak" or simply "Oppression" might work better.
Sadly they don't phrase it like that any more. It'd be 'As long as he has power 3 or greater, he has "R: Mephisto gets +1/+0 until end of turn"'.

The FAQ makes it sound like the double-exile trick is by design, instead of an unfortunate loophole.

Seems like a good way to stop having to pay the upkeep but still get the effect (and then you're in 'lose if you forget' territory) But as Alex says, it's just a 2pt poke, nothing massively huge for a 2card combo.

Depends on the card. Nonsensical subtypes will cease to exist, so it'll still be a Mountain iff the other card says "in addition to its other types".

If I use one of your "Make this something other than a land" cards, does it stop being a mountain?

Sylvan Scrying /is/ very good. And you don't have to match power levels all the time (vis. Obelisks)
Having played against it, I don't think it's a problem at 2R. It doesn't affect the board state at all. It does mean the red mage has time on his side, but I kinda like that. Incentives to make the game not drag on indefinitely. Nonetheless, I'd be interested in others' thoughts.

It does have the potential to power up Tarmoblast; and of course if you take the concealer ability off it breaks the cycle. I think it's OK, although conditional unblockable could work too.

It's good enough that i'd run 4 in any R/G deck.
