I changed it to be more balanced, and much more fun to play in my opinion.
You might be right, but i figured since it only works on prototype cards i thought that the power was greatly lowered.
I think you are very right. A simple design would fit this card very well.
It's Urza's Factory and Mishra's Workshop in a single card.
Both of those are hugely good cards on their own.
Which, I fear, means that this is far too good.
Created the Prototype Archetype to be a fun way for certain people to create sketchy rogue decks. And it's also a fun archetype to draft!
Eeenteresting. Though this is very much an "I win" in the obvious deck. (Every creature I'm playing with is indestructible at instant speed? And I can drop my entire hand of them at any time? Ouchie.)
