that is a valid concern. it's better now though. I just feel like skipping your next turn might be problematic, although I can't place my feelings on why i feel that
i ve made this mistake a lot, it just doesnt seem fun to play or have played against you. maybe go for something devotion based and redo the card, i mean the name would make sense that way
I actually wouldn't think this would be that good in vintage.
Regardless, 'swinginess' is indeed the main issue here. This isn't just us talking btw, as intimidate and protection that were mechanics that were in part removed from their evergreen status due to their swingy nature. Cards with random effects are usually toned down a lot because of this as well since having swingy competitive environments is only fun so far...
Though doesn't Hearthstone have this issue? I merely touched on that game years ago so I don't know a lot about its metagames or anything. It's peculiar though as that game is very popular. I think there have been some theories at least that was so that the game wouldn't be so skill-intensive and would have wider appeal..?
Yay secret does research! if you wanna keep it this way, which i think is the most flavorful and color-appropriate, and just my biased personal fav... i guess youèd have to push it up a bit. maybe 8 :P 8 drop mythics can do next to anythign not banned lol
Let's look at comparable cards: Fumigate doesn't have the life loss (Destroy/Exile difference is secondary to that). Deadly Tempest does the life loss thing, but each player takes pain only for their own creatures.
I think you are close. I think just a multicolored Deadly Tempest could keep the life gain at the came converted mana cost, but what really worries me is that this can take out all opponents in multiplayer in one fell swoop.
wow. I understand the point but this is far too good.. i mean swinging for 9 on turn 3? cant be blocked? not to mention this could be done on turn 1 in vintage with a black lotus. that is half your health gone on turn 1! realllly strong.

noentheless i like this card
limited activation to once per turn
my only concern is untapping it over and over to sift thru your deck then win on turn 3
hmmm... i should fix this LOL
hm. it feels like it might not work
yw np
changed wording
thx
As long as you control five or more other enchantments, Nyx Titan gets +5/+5 and gains Indestructable

Even my When Chulunlla of the End cost 7 (though it had a better body).
removed haste
i see your point, i am gonna remove the haste. 9 dmg on turn 3 is too much.

I'm afraid this is basically never ok. It's either "Cast this, swing, win" or "cast this, zap, lose". Neither of those is fun.
i will change to have only 1 toughness, that way it is probs gonna kill you turn 4. does that make it ok? :/
it was bugging me at cmc 4, i cant put another griselbrand into this world
upped cost to 7

I think this might cost more than 6... but it might not.
melikes
this is similar to what you were doing with Archdemon of Devotion but it works a lot better. 1 drop is still pretty cheap though.
