some new thoughts on this card: i like that it is optional to put it OTB, at first i didnt like the revealing part because if you were to put it OTB there would be no reason to reveal it, but for the earlier reason i now like it because flexibility.
also i am tempted to say you should add 'otherwise, put it into your hand' at the end, but then i remembered you are drawing it, so that would be uneccesary all-inall nice card
I would say, this looks nice in azorius and is likely legal, but it probably fits better into mono-blue
then again it is an enchantment, which is pretty white stuff, so i guess azorius is a good mix of two colors.
also it just feels azorius, especially cause that is the colors you normally get aether in
also both white and blue use strategy to shut down oppponent strategies, and this does that by nullifying effects that put cards on the bottom of the players deck, so this would fit into both for this reason too
Hm. Yes. Cast this and crazy big stuff happens shortly thereafter, semi-unpredictably. Yep, sounds like a good mythic.
I'm still not 100% sure whether this breaks colour pie or not. I guess Omniscience and Mind's Desire let you cast arbitrary cards in monoblue, so yeah, it's probably fine.
Kind of terrifying the amount of stuff this will let you drop into play. Some of it you'll know what it is; some you won't. But you won't care, 3 mana for "Cast something good" is a supremely wonderful thing.
you are right, but the problem for me is wording, you don't CAST lands, they aren't spells, and i cant say put into play, because that wont work for instants and sorceries. so either of those don't work, meaning i changed the card to only do nonlands, since that's a better ability anyways, you don't want to play lands as much as awesome spells.
Also, I will fix the typo immediately. Thanks :)
azorius doesnèt usually care about lands, so getting lands into your hand is odd. maybe just "At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library, otherwise put it into your hand"
This is all true
Horizon Watcher will stay as is, this being how i originally intended it to function, but your merits help a whole lot. :D
Perhaps you have given me some ideas...
> I actually like Vitenka's more. It is farther from the original, but yours seems to have 2 abilities
Not saying anything else, but correctly written Vitenka's version also would be two abilities: One static ability that continuously reveals the top card of the library and one triggered ability starting with "When".
> The top of deck thing is really cool, but i like the idea of playing them from your hand, because if you stack your deck, you can play like ten lands in a row. This ability requires you to draw those cards, which will need other engines or spells.
That's why my version also requires a card draw - and logistically works to boot.

I actually like Vitenka's more. It is farther from the original, but yours seems to have 2 abilities, which it seems is both unnecessary (why do you need to have the top revealed for the second ability to work this time around) and unsynergetic (they don't have much to do with one another, or im missing it)
The idea is that it improves card draw, allowing you to do something simic has always wanted to do, but never been able to print :]
it is a triggered ability, because of it having the synergies with card draw. The idea is that you cannot play endless lands (like with Fastbond) but it needs you to have engines going and possibly topdeck manipulation. Balance is key, but i did say expect op flashy mythics. Thanks for the feedback, guys!
thanks!

Very mythic.
very nice. I like this idea.
fixed typo and wording issue, so it no longer breaks color pie, and can be played as intended

interesting but some problems
azorius doesnèt usually care about lands, so getting lands into your hand is odd. maybe just "At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library, otherwise put it into your hand"
also the last line needs a capital letter on Cast
i dont know why, but I love this
hm i think that stops it from allowing you to dump your hand, good connection to existing mechanic tho
also wurms u dont need to reveal a land if you are going to play it, it is visible if in play, i'd take out the middleman
Fair enough. My suggestion did have two clauses already; but they feel very closely coupled, so I can see why it looked like one.
But sure, this is a fine card. Oh! I wonder if you could almost have written it "Land cards in your deck have miracle"?

wow, this card sure got a lot of attention :)
I will edit the card so that it reveals the lands

Thanks everyone, the discussion is appreciated!

Or to be closer to the original:
> Play with the top card of your library revealed.
If you would draw a land card, you may put it onto the battlefield tapped instead.
THAT IS A GREAT FIX! TAKE IT! TAKE IT!
Or go with the evenmore exciting:
"Play with the top card of your deck face-up. When it's a land card, you may put it into play tapped."
oh yeah it doesn't allow endless land play.. disappointing realization for me, i dont know what to do with all these lands on my hands!
(this is my 1st time hearing of fastbond so i guess i do have a solution!)
FUN FACT: i though of some of these cards 3 years ago! most are recent however.
