It seems like a rather ineffective fossil hoser though. I mean, it's a -cost Moment of Silence, that also removes your main phase for one turn! And even Moment of Silence does not get played in normal control decks.
Does the weird mana cost have something to do with fossil?
Is there supposed to be a time frame on how long a chosen color gets nixed? Otherwise reminder text stating "(This effect lasts indefinitely.)" seems necessary, because it's clearly not what I would be expecting.
This is a hoser that I don't feel ever can be fun even to close out a player that let's you get to six mana and keep this around.
Reality Twist is not something often repeated - excluding versions specifically going against nonbasic lands.
This is also a more complicated way about doing the latter ability of Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger which I think would be better here.
Huh. There's a flat hoser for fossil. That any deck can run. And there's no defence against it, except a counterspell. So many people will have 4 in their sideboard. So... fossil decks are doomed. I'd better avoid those cards.
Honestly this seems so bad with it continually entering tapped that I'm wondering if I should give it the dual land types.
You mean "dinosaur?" 😉
Should the wording on Sunclaw Aven be changed?
I agree Heritage wants to be an ability word. But that means the wording should be something like:
> Heritage -- At the beginning of your upkeep, as long as a fossil creature sharing blah blah, target player puts the top blah blah.

It's an enchantment; so it lasts as long as it is in play.
But it's a fossil enchantment; so that means it's only in play half the time, I think? Fossil kinda works like phasing?

I mean I guess you can be cunning and have a harpoon.
This could not exist outside of Gaddgar, or it would just be banned in other formats.
Considered adding "or planeswalker," but I don't intend to include any planeswalkers in Gaddgar.
Velociraptor. The added wording is weird but there so no one tries to play a non-fossil card during a fossil turn.
I fear this may play out this way:
