For reference check the edit I made to Card74008. I think it's a bit more balanced now, though maybe still can get out of hand. I dig this card as well though. Could really be either.

I see what you're saying but I don't see those cards as a straight comparison, considering that they also grant the tokens extra benefits like Menace and +1/+1. It seems more the fact that black has flying tokens as its theme that creates the problem here, and those cards do present the problem that it seems expected that you pay mana to produce tokens still.
Well, it's still pretty powerful, too much so in my eyes. Would pick this over Rise from the Tides any time, since playing and trading creatures is much easier than playing effectively with sorceries and instants in a draft.
As I said with the other graveyard token producers, I don't think that just tapping plus exiling a creature card is enough of a cost to create a token. If you compare it to Graf Harvest or Cemetery Reaper this is way too good. Maro made some Nuts&Bolts articles how Uncommons should look in the new world order, and I think we should adhere to that.
I see how it could work that way. My first reaction was just "I don't want to return a land to my hand". But it could work as a combo piece, I see that.
Not really, it is a combo piece for the few Discovery increasers, also Discovery wouldn't care if you return a basic land you already have.

That's a fair suggestion. To clarify, do you mean that that parts goes into the quote of what each creature gets, or just to put that ability on the card?
I dig the idea of a cycle like this. I just wonder if there is some way to tie these cards into the themes of the set more? The example of Dauntless River Marshall actually is more synergistic with the set because it cares about lands.
The flying part does push it a bit. Maybe if the cost is 3BB or 5B?
This seems kind of counter intuitive for Discovery players, who don't want less lands on the battlefield.
For the UR05 slot, may be a bit too pushed.
Possible card for UG06 aggressive. I'm not sure if the effect is worth the cost, but it can be a surprise finisher. Hurts if it fizzles though.
