The cycling part of this feels unnecessarily harsh. I guess the main ability is better in that it's repeatable, but that too feels a little "ouch" to me.
Paying 3 life is worth a good
, which is on the lower end of default cycling costs, which are usually either M or
. Paying 3 life is definitely worth a card, which is easily
.
Corrected wording 'Cycling- pay 3 life'->'Cycling- Pay 3 life'
This isn't as harsh as a general idea as I first thought, but is there any way the cycling cost could be reduced to 2 life? That would make it congruent with Card74312, and it's roughly equivalent to a phyrexian mana cantrip. 2 life to draw a card on the main ability seems fair to me too. Maybe changing the main ability to 2 life can be justified by simply increasing the cost to

?
Dont think that it needs to be increased in cost, Bloodgift Demon draws for 1 life so a conditional version with a bit of upside doesnt seem like it should cost more than 2 life to draw.
I only suggested that if DJK would feel like lowering the costs to 2 life would need to be compensated for. But yea, in a nutshell I feel like 3 life is too harsh.
