Finally created a (hopefully working) alternative.
(Was damage) Tapping by entangling with hair seems more flavoury. Still an odd restriction.
Can't be doubled up by things that untap it, I guess - but a pretty odd restriction. Not really seeing the "Damage something and gain life" flavour, either - that's more "Evil witch who lets down her hair to lure in the unwary"
How is this different from just a cost of ?
