  Yes, we do agree Geist is a bit too strong :)

  I like this. Reminds me a bit of Teysa, Orzhov Scion. Just like Spawning Pit, this is pretty mad with Doubling Season, but this is actually less crazy than the Pit because this only uses tokens, not counters as well.

  Random Generator gave me Geist of Saint Traft and Spawning Pit. The Geist is a bit broken... we know this, right? Okay, just making sure. I'm just saying that if this card doesn't happen to be as powerful as the Geist, I don't think that's a short-coming. I think it's got the potential to get there, mind you... turning two 1/1 flying spirits into a 4/4 is a pretty good trick...

  Random generator gave me Flow of Maggots and Island which color-shifted me blue. My blue common slot is full of creatures, and evasive 2/2 is already taken in common, so I decided something with a little more punch than a Snapping Drake would work in uncommon. Also, another spirit for blue, along with a quasi-'spirit tribal' ability.

  It's probably sensible to make this uncommon. Mulldrifter was fantastic, but also pretty format-defining (in most formats where it was legal).

  I think the lifeloss does mean the cost here is fair. Mulldrifter is at its best when blinked, but if you're blinking this the life loss will start really adding up.

  Random Generator gave me Wild Griffin and Sign in Blood. What's with the griffins, huh? Had this happened early on, Mashup: Alpha would have had a 5 color griffin theme. Maybe I'll slip it into revised if I see another one.

  This is pretty potent. The ability is common material, but the casting cost is probably too cheap for common, despite the fact that Mulldrifter exists (and is one of the better commons ever to be printed). But I can't bring myself to increase the casting cost by . There are too many 2's on the card... making it cost 5 would feel wrong...

  I agree that looks a lot more white. It looks very Time Spiral, actually: Treasure Hunter + Welkin Guide, like Cloudchaser Kestrel was Cloudchaser Eagle + Aurora Griffin.

  Is the name meant to be Kukemssa, as in Kukemssa Serpent?
