Recent updates to Multiverse Feedback: (Generated at 2024-05-14 09:16:44)
Hey Alex, any update MSE import / export functionality? :)
It's really helpful when the card follows you down the page so you can refer to it while reading comments, but you definitely still need to be able to read the comments
It's a stupid idea, but even more poorly implemented.
I'm on a macbook air and my resolution is 2304 x 1440. When I scroll, the card travels over the text on the page and blocks it.
That's an issue with it adapting to your screen size. On desktop, it's supposed to work like that. What device are you on and what's your resolution?
Interesting idea; though I mostly use the recent updates for "recent comments", which visual presentaiton doens't really have room for.
Multiverse-wide.
There is a part of the front page that says "Recently active cards:" and next to it "(all recent activity)" with a link to recent updates. I think adding another link "(show more)" that essentially shows a page of the visual spoiler sorted by recent changes would be nice indeed.
Or if the visual spoiler ever gets fixed a "Sort by" functionality there.
EDIT: Oh, do you mean multiverse-wide recent activity or for an individual set?
Yes, but let's say more like 50 or whatever is the maximum amount before the visual spoiler page starts to group/divide the cards by color.
Also, perhaps not on the front page - "recent updates" isn't the front page either. Perhaps a link next to the "Create a new cardset" link on the "recent updates" page?
"Visual spoiler [of recent updates]" or whatever.
That's rather... vague.
So you want just an extension of the five most recently changed cards shown on every front page by default?
As right now some time is lost hovering over the name of each edited card to see the popup preview. The current "recent updates" page corresponds more to the "cardlist" page of each set. I would like a more "visual" alternative.
I'd also like this.
this sounds cool! want want want!
alright, thanks :D
UPDATE: The aforementioned toggling of the use of "Active" status in the card set is just a temporary fix. It eventually returns to 0 active out of 10 cards - no matter how many cards total there are in the set.
They aren't exactly essential. We don't have miracle borders either. Purely cosmetic.
I resolved the issue by toggling the use of "Active" status in the card set.
Keeping the bug report open since the underlying software issue has not been resolved.
Yeah; concur; I also see at this time that the set has at least one active card, but the visual spoiler says not.
This shows "Showing 0 active cards, of 10 total"
While this corresponding front page shows "11 cards in Multiverse " and the cardlist verifies that about half of them are active.
(No images yet, but will provide if the error cannot be reproduced, though this comment suggests it does not only occur for me. Really the image would not look different from a visual spoiler page for a set without active cards anyway.)
I still want this!
Similar to Multiple cardset admins or Grant Admin to Individuals in the intended use. I feel like it'd solve both of those issues for the time being, as long as no one abuses it by just typing in random URLs.
D'ohh. I fixed a few problems in Import Data a few months back, but I think I must have introduced this at the same time. Yes, this should certainly be fixed.
So it does. How silly. I'll fix that.
