This card causes some issues, and shows some of the issues with passages, too. I don't want to spell it out on passages that creatures can only attack through one passage per combat, because the reminder text is long enough already, but I'm afraid I might have to. I'm unsure how this functions if there are more attacking creatures than passages.
Thanks! I feel like these belong in some sort of land-matters set.
I went through the same thought process, so I thought I would post this and see what other people thought.
I like this cycle a lot, but this one feels a bit too good. It's like a Neurok Hoversail that costs nothing to equip and doesn't take up a spell slot.
On the other hand, I guess I haven't factored in the drawback half. This gives your opponent's best attacker flying too; if you don't have any natural flyers, that's quite a powerful help to them too. Hmmm.
OK, changed my mind, this is at least not obviously overpowered.
I like this cycle a lot.
This was somewhat inspired by Terrains, as seen on Inconvenient Marsh.
Thanks. :-)
Ooh. I like it. It's like a cycle of Still Lifes with two modes. That'll be an annoying unblockable guy to deal with, but Dimir Keyrune shows it's not overpowered.
Enough do. I was just talking about Aggravated Assault yesterday. Combo that with some bounce, and you could get some very cheap extra attacks.
