Do you think this could lose the "for the first time in a turn?" I mean, that can be crazy if you hit a pocket of land cards, but this does absolutely nothing if you don't hit land.
Whee. Nice effect, certainly. A little reminiscent of Endless Horizons, in that each turn you get a land-drop and a normal card draw; also reminds me of Abundance, though that was more giving you your choice of which you want.
Spectacular with looters, but other than that this looks fine as a 4- or 5-mana rare enchantment.
Can't decide if this is underpowered or overpowered.
Upped activation cost.
I wasn't 100% sure about that, dude1818, so I just did it this way to be safe.
Apparently I'm on a weird card kick.
Fuunky.
Ha! Knowing me, I'd probably try to make a red Unearth deck out of this card. ;)
You could probably get away with "Spells you cast are red sorceries with "This spell deals 3 damage to target creature or player."" That sort of ability overwrites previous text unless it says otherwise. Also, it's cooler that way.
Heh, an Ice-Age hoser. Nice punishment for the people who figured "Well, I'll only run snow lands, duh."
Given which, sadly, should probably be an "Enchant World" that changes the lands, instead.
It lets you choose the result of Unexpected Results and protects your library from Surgical Extraction, Bribery, and mill. The most dangerous thing it can do (after winning with Laboratory Maniac) is probably turn 4 Emrakul or Omniscience with Unexpected Results, it should probably cost more.
Thanks. :-)
I took a cue from Unexpected Results and had it shuffle, because I didn't want people cheating Emrakul or Draco on top of their library.
Haha, yeah. Putting "end the turn" on there really makes you want to give it flash. I figured it had to be there, since it untaps all of your permanents.
For whatever reason, I just could not think of a wording that included lifelink. That seems like it works. Thanks. :-)
Or Vedalken Orrery; but that makes EVERYTHING better.
This is the kind of card you really want to play with Leyline of Anticipation or Alchemist's Refuge.
It is kinda an odd defensive card. "End my turn, but with everything untapped and ready" Devastating if you've got a flash deck, possibly.
Actually reads very good to me. When I first saw this last night, I wanted to give you money for this card. I'd probably play it in far too many decks... I'm the sort of guy who plays with cycling cards I will never need, because I might need them someday, and, hey, <falacy>"It's not like I wasted a card on it. I can just cycle it!"</falacy>
Weeeird.
Doesn't seem bad, just... odd.
Hee. In the absence of any interactions, it's just a Vampiric Tutor. But it does have a whole bunch of wacky possible interactions, starting with enabling Laboratory Maniac wins on turn 4 if you have a t2 Merfolk Looter or similar.
Hmm. Interestingly, it just draws the card straight away if it's a land. Nice with a sac engine because you can draw the card if you need it more than the token. I like it.
I think putting pseudo-lifelink and true lifelink on the same card is asking for confusion.
I have a feeling that making something with pseudo-lifelink at all these days is asking for confusion, but on the flip side, it feels like this current wording is clearer than "Sources you control have lifelink", as the latter might make people confused about spells.
Aha! "Spells and permanents you control have lifelink" would do the job most clearly of all, I think.
