Everything you control has lifelink? Powerful! Insanely so, I suspect.
Yeah, this should probably cost more. I have a bad habit of under-costing things.
Note that this is part of a potential cycle with Vines of Verdure.
True Conviction's two halves could plausibly each cost 4 or 5 mana; I'm pretty sure neither half could cost 3. Windbrisk Raptor was pretty powerful too.
I'm not keen on it having lifelink as well as pseudo-lifelink when activated though.
No? I thought that was cute. :-(
What would you suggest?
Honestly; I'd just suggest: "Creatures you control have lifelink" I can't find that printed anywhere; and it sure ought to exist.
Technically, that's half of True Conviction. The point was that it gave the ability to everything, as Vines of Verdure affects all of your permanents.
I think putting pseudo-lifelink and true lifelink on the same card is asking for confusion.
I have a feeling that making something with pseudo-lifelink at all these days is asking for confusion, but on the flip side, it feels like this current wording is clearer than "Sources you control have lifelink", as the latter might make people confused about spells.
Aha! "Spells and permanents you control have lifelink" would do the job most clearly of all, I think.
For whatever reason, I just could not think of a wording that included lifelink. That seems like it works. Thanks. :-)
Reminiscent of Soulfire Grand Master.
