If I ever make an enchantment set with a hybrid component, I'll probably want to make a cycle out of this.
Cool! Like a Thunder Totem but making better creatures in exchange for not making mana. Both modes are about a 4-mana creature, which seems okay by comparison with Still Life (which turns into Order of the Sacred Bell).
Hmm. Yeah, it should probably cost at least
more, and probably more.
This is a hefty discount on Blood Feud. The attacking restriction is a significant one, but I fear this will often be a targeted Dispense Justice or Wing Shards. I... guess the requirement for two attackers to be able to kill each other in fighting is fairly comparable to metalcraft or storm? Except you can choose the targets, and after the fight you can then block the damaged survivor with a random 1/1? Hmm. But on the other hand this does nothing if they're coming in with one huge thing, and very little if they're coming in with a 6/6 and a 1/1... hmm hmm.
Looks like quite a blowout, anyway, and perhaps slightly too good or too cheap. Really interesting idea though.
Had "When ~ ETBs, sacrifice it unless you pay

."
I agree, but I'd say I think that means that line of text should be an enchantment (or an artifact) rather than a land.
I didn't think the effect I had in mind could be balanced without a cost.
Yow. That's a big mana cost for a land - much higher than Rupture Spire. And requiring three colours makes it fiddly enough to mean that this can't really be treated as taking up a land slot in your decks, and I don't really like cards that say "land" on the type line but don't play like lands.
What are you talking about, jmgariepy? I thought it was completely obvious that you could play it as a land. The word "may" is right there.
But you can always play this as a Forest Island, right? I wish there was a way to make that more obvious, though, I have no idea how.
Alternatively, would this be better as a one shot activated ability? It would let me play my land...
Indeed, it needs to be pretty costly. The land types make it quite good, but I felt they were almost necessary to preserve as much text box space as possible.
Thanks for saying it's awesome. :)
This is pretty awesome. It's pretty good just as an uncounterable Clone, though the mana requirements are hefty (sensibly so).
Vitenka, you made me wonder if that first clause was needed, so I added it. Now I realize how similar it is to Tamiyo's ultimate, though.
Well, I vote for the crazy wording. Though I'm not quite sure how your discard phase works. Is it "Discard until you have only 7 cards" or does it just check the once? Because infinite looping the end step would be kinda funny.
Whee! That emblem is kinda ridiculous (in a fun way). I wonder if it might be more sensibly worded as an emblem with "
: Return target card from your graveyard to your hand."
