That's probably true.
The symmetry is certainly nice. This might be better split across two cards rather than one though.
I'd side with all the comments that we don't need yet another life total.
Problem is, you kinda naturally want "Gain life" and "do damage" as conditions; which makes them also seem pretty odd as rewards.
Quest counters were Wizards' official attempt to play in this space. I kinda agree that making the reward be a sigil rather than an enchantment that's easy to clear out even once reached has value, though.
But if you put stuff in the command zone, I immediately start wondering about answers to stuff in the command zone...
Oh, sorry, no, I mean it :) It's the sort of thing which is a really satisfying answer to some overpowered cards, and the sort of thing which is too good, but I think think is about right (I'd have to check similar "remove all the cards with that name from the deck" cards to be sure).
Is that sarcasm? :-P
LOL. Yeah, that seems fair :)
It's true.
animated aritfacts have always been around. but enchants are rarer.
The Return to Ravnica block had the Golgari Keyrune cycle, which is a bit similar. But yes, I always liked Still Life. And Halcyon Glaze, for that matter.
pretty interesting. surprised wotc hasn't done more of these enchantment-into-creatures. In Theros they're already creatures to begin with, so pointless for that block. but other enchantment blocks or themes would like these. I'm now inspired to make them for Kin Kwan / Sik Zeoi.
If I ever make an enchantment set with a hybrid component, I'll probably want to make a cycle out of this.
Cool! Like a Thunder Totem but making better creatures in exchange for not making mana. Both modes are about a 4-mana creature, which seems okay by comparison with Still Life (which turns into Order of the Sacred Bell).
Hmm. Yeah, it should probably cost at least
more, and probably more.
This is a hefty discount on Blood Feud. The attacking restriction is a significant one, but I fear this will often be a targeted Dispense Justice or Wing Shards. I... guess the requirement for two attackers to be able to kill each other in fighting is fairly comparable to metalcraft or storm? Except you can choose the targets, and after the fight you can then block the damaged survivor with a random 1/1? Hmm. But on the other hand this does nothing if they're coming in with one huge thing, and very little if they're coming in with a 6/6 and a 1/1... hmm hmm.
Looks like quite a blowout, anyway, and perhaps slightly too good or too cheap. Really interesting idea though.
Had "When ~ ETBs, sacrifice it unless you pay

."
I agree, but I'd say I think that means that line of text should be an enchantment (or an artifact) rather than a land.
