I'm thinking Grip of Chaos and other such mad cards.

Ways you could tackle this - cards that have a nice side effect even when they go wrong, cards that let you increase or decrease the number of triggers; or cards that somehow slip through the randomness cracks and stay predictable while your opponent has to deal with the wild.

I don't really want cards that just say "When you flip a coin.." to make it less random; that's just too obvious. I'm more thinking of the flag bearers which have a normal effect outside of "Everything goes mad" and a different one inside it.

More examples of mad cards also appreciated :)

Other mad cards: Confusion in the Ranks, Warp World, Custody Battle, Chaos Warp... there are certain recurring themes in the names :)

An example: Uplands Dragon
It can't be targetted by spells, so damage spells and kill spells are safe to randomise around it. And if it ends up on your opponents side of the table, then most likely it just dissolves before it can hit you.

I noted that the challenge doesn't specifically ask for me to make a red card, so I added Elysian Copses.

I made this ages ago, as a black card with a somewhat-flavourful mild drawback, and I don't think it would be printable in a normal set, but I just realised it would work well with the random-target stuff some of the time: Obstinate Mahout

@Jack, shroud is basically the same thing, but better. My attempt goes in a different direction: Anarchomancer
