Uh. I knew there was one that already existed.
Similar to Challenge # 018, I think?
Eh, maybe they'll update the wording in the next Multiverse/rules update. Speaking of, I thought there would've been one already for Commander 2014... Or is it only with Standard sets now?
There's no problem, but the Archetypes are more wordy than necessary. The Archetypes have three aspects: "lose", "can't have", and "can't gain". Arcane Lighthouse though simplifies this down to two, "lose" and "can't have". In fact, it seems "can't have" would be sufficient to accomplish the same, but they decided to keep "lose" in there for clarity.
I'm all for reducing the number of words, so I was removing "or gain" from this card, to match the terminology update on Arcane Lighthouse.
A rather obvious challenge which as far as I can tell, no one has put on the list yet.
I don't see the problem. This is the template on Archetype of Courage...
"can't have or gain" is redundant, according to Cranial Insertion: "can't have" is sufficient

See Challenge # 049.
When I created this card I didn't want to assign colors to groups unless they especially went against it, like Teruga being anti-red. So I took an idea inspired by what I had read and tried to turn it into a card, which happened to include green in the cost.
Huh, until I read your description I would've guessed the card was Terguan.
See Challenge # 112. Originally, this was an artifact. However, the flavor is Sahalan — they despise the kids off knowledge — and I think that if Danahar was a set, most or all of the artifacts would being to Rohn. The people of Sahala hate the loss of any knowledge, and so seek to prevent it by any means necessary.
Haha, it's Incendiary Mist ! Great minds think alike! I actually like yours better, so nice.
Artwork can help disambiguate in cases like that. A real set might have different artists with different art styles working on the different factions.
I like this card too. It's a very natural effect to glue on to a blink effect for a powerful card.
I like this design a lot, though I wouldn't have gotten from the name that it was a Roamer card. Overall it feels more Rohn-like for some reason.
The drawback is flavorful for sure, but I think it's a bit much. What if it just returned to your hand?

See Challenge # 112. A Roamer instant inspired by the idea of... Roaming! Alternatively this could be retooled to blue if we made it flicker instead of UEOT.
Made group hug to be more in line with Sahalan flavor. Also made the final ability have a red tint to it.
When I looked on the cardsets page, this showed up as "in 2 minutes: Alex deleted a comment on The Unending Tradition" :)
For Challenge # 112. Sahala loves knowledge and preserving that knowledge. There are a few different ways to represent that in Magic and I went with this one.
