Would this work? "Target creature you don't control gains protection from opponents UEOT."
Giving an opponent's creature hexproof doesn't do what you think it does, then. That would just protect them from your combat tricks. You have to word this like Vines of the Vastwood if you're trying to make it a pseudp-counter.
The original concept may be more "fair." This can both totally suck for the caster and also be really strong.
Ooh, very nice. I like our flavorfully and mechanically. It's a pity that it costs so much, but development would very likely Nerf it just that hard.
That does free up a lot of text space.
Nah, this guy hates on combat tricks. He was created with draft in mind.
Is this meant to be a group hug card? There aren't that many uses for it otherwise...
Oh, very neat flavor. I like it. You might be able to have it read "UEOT, if a creatures town would ETB, instead exile it and its controller discards a card."
Pretty awesome interpretation of Teruga and a card I would totally play. Nice flavor text, though it sounds more like it belongs to a Roamer than a citizen of Teruga.
This has been done before in Myr Propagator and Pack Rat. It could easily be blue or even black. However, note that Pack Rat is seen as a very powerful rare, and it has a cost to it's ability.
Awesome!
Made a few more cards.
Teruga: Devoted Wardmancer, Keeping Form, Sterilization, Stern-faced Prefect, and Abduction
Rohn: Egotistical Aristocrat, City Planning, and Booming Inspiration
Velorn: Revel of the Perfected
See Challenge # 112. Velorn card. I took an unearthish route. This is the birth of a perfected.
See Challenge # 112. So this was originally going to be a simple "Deal X damage where X is the number of golems you control" but I realized that didn't make sense flavorfully (if the golems were beating you up they're probably hitting you for more than 1 damage a piece).
See Challenge # 112. An egotistical Rohn artificer making many golems in his likeness. I wasn't sure how to cost this (and part of me says this card should be green- something I'm not really getting from Rohn).
See Challenge # 112. Rohn's expansion. I picture old, non-golem creations being repurposed for new uses.
See Challenge # 112. So I imagine Teruga's force-field as being something hard to maintain when compromised. I pictured this as someone trained to give up his or her life for the force-field in a worst case scenario. At the exile thing was kind of added on (it should probably
-sacrifice this creature" for mechanical purposes) to show that her spirit would go on to become part of the force-field.
See Challenge # 112. A Terugan lifestyle of maintaining body and mind.
See Challenge # 112. Another card dealing with Terugan breeding practices.
See Challenge # 112. Vedalken come across to me as a race that would primarily be found in Teruga, so I wanted to make a Terugan one.
See Challenge # 112. Teruga breeding practices.
