The type should be specified when creating the token in the first ability. (The only time you omit the type is if it is a predefined token; this is the case for the second ability but not the first one.) (You should write: "Create a 0/1 green Plant creature token")
Furthermore, "plants" in the second ability should be "Plants" (capitalized).
Even more furthermore, if the Gold token has its usual ability, just write "create a Gold token"; since the type (artifact) is not specified, that means that it is a predefined token, so the token will have "Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color."
changed Laborer to Citizen
Haha! Magic is turning into Hearthstone and it's terrible! Haha! :.|
I hate this and don't want something like this to exist.
Top-notch top-down design.
Haste was never the aspect of speed that I was looking for. I had meant to include doublestrike (though in retrospect I realized that without trample or some kind of evasion, doublestrike wouldn't accomplish much as a doublestrike creature will often be blocked).
The type of speed I was envisioning had to deal with being so quick that it could kill a creature before the opponent had time to react (more the feeling of You Are Already Dead and where doublestrike, if unblocked, would have been relevant). First strike could have fit though.
As for being a goblin, I am one of the people who prefer my fantasy without humans (or at least not from their perspective as they're so common in the real world which to me registers as less fantastic), so when throwing something into a vacuum, human as a creature type has to fight against other creature types. At the time, I just liked the idea of a goblin with this job.
I don't think so. This is by itself a really daunting attacker. Even if the opponent has a 2/3 to block this, this might very well snipe another creature on that attack. The jump from 1 damage to 2 damage makes a lot of difference over e. g. Raging Regisaur, too.
I feel like this is too strong in a vacuum. I mean if this were the only samurai/warrior in your deck, it still chunks in limited. 2 damage picks off a lot of blockers.
In order to put a stop to this, you would need a 2/3 at minimum. And then that only stops this creature from attacking. If you have a disposable 1/1 warrior, it can now safely attack into that 3 powered creature.
Idk. Perhaps limited has power crept up to this point.
Is this supposed to be silly like Goblin Offensive? It's a 'super-fast' goblin without haste?
