For example, the card imprinted isn't in your hand; so "All players empty their hand" effects become asymmetrical. (Though so do wrath effects, in a bad way.)
But yeah, this does cost too much; and there's no evidence that kind of clever combo is what you were aiming at with it. Given Mulldrifter, you could probably cost this a lot cheaper. I'd try . That would be exciting and then the potential downside becomes part of the justification for the low low cost, while also giving you the chance for clever a combo later.
Hmm. It's clearly reminiscent of Blast of Genius. For 2 mana cheaper... yeah, drawing 2 fewer cards is probably correct, so it should at least draw one.
Alternatively, take the cost down quite a bit. If it's going to be Induce Despair but with card disadvantage, it should be cheaper.
Typically only a maximum of 3 cards, and then only if they see all 4 of whatever they're running. This is a great hoser for Shadowborn Apostle.dec, but does that matter?
Hmm good point.
i know.
this is my first set-making, i'm inexperienced; what is the main problem with this card at common?
could this be pushed to formation with haste? or should that be ?
i'm slow; why?
any suggestions of change or redesign? or should i just leave it?
setting up for a +1/+1 counter-based mechanic in the second set
For a combat trick reducing an opponent's power so that your creature survives...
It is very slightly different.

If we're talking flavor, it would make more sense if it was attacking and shooting from the front of the line, yes?
It's not often that a card worse than Carrier Pigeons gets designed...

Yeah, this is kinda horrible. Its sac ability is more expensive than Selfless Cathar, which was a common.
Yes, this is a nice take on a common Electrolyze.
Funny for us watching; but will it be funny for the people playing the set?
