Signal the Clans suggests that they think Eladamri's Call is a little bit too good by modern standards. Sorcery speed helps this be fairer, though. Personally I'm still fine with Worldly Tutor and friends.
Well, Diabolic Tutor is the current baseline for unrestricted tutoring (but see Supply // Demand). Summoner's Pact is

, but with unusual circumstances; same for Primal Command. Time of Need finds a legend, which makes me think
at least is definitely acceptable. Modern big tutors for permanents (Chord of Calling, Green Sun's Zenith, Doubling Chant, Clarion Ultimatum, Wargate) have tended to put the card directly on the battlefield.
This seems kinda cheap for a tutor, nowadays.
Green-black is a more sensible place to be for Eladamri's call
Only after it becomes evergreen.
"You may only cast Pyropunch as your only spell that turn." is a bit shorter, and probably covers it. (Make it reminder text for a keyword and you can get away with not spelling everything out, I think.)
I do wish the rules allowed for a condensing of the first 2 lines of rule text...
oooh, semi-epic. That's an interesting space. A perfect 2-drop, but a pain in the ass later in the game. I like it.
An easy way to simplify the issue would be to have only spells affect it. I'm fairly sure there are no permanent boost coming from spells, but I know there are a few effects on them that are permanent...
I think it works, it's certainly obvious what's supposed to happen, but it's a little odd to have to write in the details of the spell like that.
An alternative might be something like Yew Spirit, "when this attacks or blocks, it gets +X/+X" where X is its power. That way any temporary or permanent boosts get applied twice, eventually. (Although it's a little different because it's small outside combat and instants during combat don't work.)
(I think "~ gets +X/+X where X is its power" works as a static effect too! But would be too confusing to actually print.)
Although it's possible it could be more aggressively costed if it only works with temporary boosts, so maybe we should find a way to make your wording work.
I like it!
dude, i was gonna make a giant prick, too. you stole my thunder.
forgot a subtype
