Effects not locked in, but changed this cycle so the non-white cards are no longer wrath, but some other strong effect. Kept the "first time/second time" concept -- I'm still not sure it's for this set, but want to try it.
Reimported cards. Images and text in multiverse should match, though I've probably got it wrong somewhere.
There you go. Haha, my code copes quite well with "Planeswalker Land": I wasn't sure what it would do :)
Daggerclaw Imp is fairly standard. So 1BB might just about be okay without the drawback. Or your other options would obviously be fine too: Sewn-Eye Drake suggests 2BB could get a 3/1 flying haste.
Ah, thank you. Don't worry.
Sorry, mockups are broken at the moment. It's due to a bug in the version of the Javascript library I'm using (!). Fix should be going live soon.
Want to make this good even in a non-dedicated deck, to line up with the other 10-mana win cards.
Removing cantrip. Becoming 2G "Rampant Growth or Sylvan Scrying". Not that strong, but still useful.
Hm. Worse than jagwasp swarm, which wasn't that exciting to start with (although baseline for limited flyers). What's a fair cost for a 3/1 flying in black common? I can leave it as is (which is probably ok, even though weaker than the standard), add another keyword (?), or try 1BB (?)
OK, I love the flavour text and the idea, but the card isn't useful. Will remove it.
Making second ability optional so it's simpler to know you can always cast it when your opponent plays a spell.
When I tried this, it was somewhat confusing that the ability only applied on defence, and was so small. But it felt nice even though it didn't matter much.
Possibly it should happen when attacks happen, but it might be more difficult as you have to guess first how the defending player is going to block.
Is "Whenever an artifact creature you control attacks, you may pay
and put a +1/+1 counter on it. //
, Sacrifice an artifact creature: Add
to your mana pool where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on it."
Idea was to store mana in the form of +1/+1 counters on artifact creatures. Will simplify to just add +1/+1 counter on each on each attack.
Going to make death trigger so card advantage but not repeatable.
Change to be all blocking creatures, instead of all creatures blocking target creature. Does this seem less narrow?
Going to remove minor gravetrigger. If white gets 2/3 bonus for WW, is 1W 2/3 "whenever a creature deals damage to this..." reasonable at common?
I know trample isn't white, but the leviathan flavour feels right. Can I justify this?
I like the flavour but I think the ability is too complicated. How should it read?
I'm not sure how the "when ~ leaves play" ability will work. Obvious cases: if it dies, it can temporarily remove an opponent's creature, or flicker one of yours. If it's in combat or mass removal, it's too late to remove anything before damage resolves, is that how it should be?
Shall I add "exile it" clause so people can keep the creature card under blessed ghost as a reminder? OTOH, then it would feel more like "... return it to play"
Is this too much for common? Seems simple enough, but could be very surprising. Could instead be "all other creatures you control" or "target creature".
Chris; Are you sure? Can you choose to sacrifice it even though it can't leave play? If it said "you can't sacrifice this" I assume you can't (compare Tajuru Preserver), and if it said "if this would leave play, instead it doesn't", then you can, but is it clear with the current wording?
Maybe surprise blocker is too much of an upside. I could make it "sac when comes into play" again (you can still use instant speed sac effects, but less like a creature and more confusing for common) or make it situational or tweak the cost. But it can't cost much as Summoner's Bane gives a permanent 2/2 for 2UU.
