Memory effect says this card cannot see print.
Easily fixed: "
: Remove all psi counters from ~, then put any number of psi counters on ~. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery."
memory effect: solved.
This doesn't really create any tension. If I'm already winning, I'll just not cast the spell you killed, and if you are winning, or it's about equal, or you turned it around, I cast the spell, and all you really managed to do is get a severely delayed Divination with a discount of 1.
To add more tension, this needs something else. Also, draw isn't white, but that can be excused because "I have answers to your stuff but my answer has an answer" is definitely white. Throw 'gain 5 life' in the mix? Giving you some cards AND some life to survive to cast them could be cool.
All it really needs is 1 power and this design would be fantastic, though that does take away from the feeling of a reaver with no scarabs left.
How about entering with Psionic 5 instead and having "Remove a psi counter: +1/+0 until end of turn"? So, no cost to activate it?
This card is mechanically not white. White doesn't do firebreathing. It doesn't even do self-pump.
I bet wizards would think thrice about 'white sleep' because it is so backbreakingly effective against midrange for aggro decks, and midrange is exactly the deck that normally deals with aggro.
But, this set isn't really meant for that, so, sure.
Seems a bit distant from starcraft now. Shouldn't it be something along the lines of 3,
sac: Regenerate all terran soldiers, draw a card?
To make this thing work with terran soldiers which are all kinda cheap and aggro-like, needs to be worth playing. Regenning your team seems decent enough.
Just have the token sacrifice itself at the end of combat/end of turn. Cards like Thatcher Revolt for reference. Could be good if you wanted more death triggers.
That's pretty cool and interesting too, and feels at least moderately flavourful.
