3 -> 2

Activated ability to 2. From experience,never lasts more than 1 or 2 turns on the battlefield.

Seems a bit distant from starcraft now. Shouldn't it be something along the lines of 3,{t} sac: Regenerate all terran soldiers, draw a card?

To make this thing work with terran soldiers which are all kinda cheap and aggro-like, needs to be worth playing. Regenning your team seems decent enough.

Thanks. The cards don't have to represent all the abilities of the unit it's emulating. In this case, the salvage ability of the Bunker was enough, and plays well.

I kind of understand what you mean though, SC bunkers are more well known for being infantry support rather than this secondary ability. It's like, I don't know, I made a Medic with Optic Flare as its ability rather than healing.

Now I don't know the power level of the card in regards to the other decks, but would it make more sense to have the sacrifice cost be 3 colorless, to emulate the Salvage cost of your other spells in the deck? It kind of increases the overall "flavor" and coherance of your theme.

Yes, that is interesting. Looking at Steel Wall, Wall of Mulch, and Perimeter Captain, this card is overcosted.

1/4 defender might be too cheap for 2CMC, I'll see if I can make it 0/5 with a salvage ability of {3}. I'll also play around with interacting with soldiers, but I like the simplicity already.

0/4 -> 0/5, 2->3

It should work like a Journey to Nowhere except you target your own creature and the power of bunker is equal to the power of creature exiled. It saves the creature from wipes and they can still do damage. It's pretty much just defensive.

A suggestion I have for the ability to interact with Terran infantry is {2} {t}, untapped soldier creatures you control get +0/+1 until end of turn.

Before:

Bunker {1}{w}
Artifact Creature - Terran Wall [c]
{3}, {t}, Sacrifice ~: Draw a card.

  • Too many comments of "shouldnt this interact with infantry? Shouldn't it allow you to champion a creature etc etc"
  • Lesson learned: don't use a less known ability (salvage) instead of a more well known one (sheltering dudes). Don't use restoration for medic instead of heal.
  • removed (((Defense Matrix))) from the set. Combat trick role was merged with this, better flavor.

0/4 -> 0/3, 1W -> W.

"Sacrfice" is incorrect spelling. Is the power restriction necessary? This card would likely be red-flagged for increasing board complexity.

flagged for increasing board complexity. Testing no cost, sorcery speed +1/+1 coutner ability.
