I patterned it after firebreathing. (2/2 -> 5/5 requires 3 mana).

Well you wanted trample! Haha. Yeah, at this point most of the CMCs of the Terran creatures are pretty moot. Haven't tested it yet, but I'm a bit inclined to have it flip down on each opponent's upkeep instead of each player's. Not sure yet if I should keep it at {2} {r} or {3} {r} .

Yep I know, that's its role in the game, but in MTG the fact remains that flying > not flying. This is ok I guess. I can sacrifice a bit of intuitiveness for SC flavor. What about this?

I prefer the old version by a small margin, because 1) I'm worried of how intuitive this might be. 2) I like the player to have control over hellbats and viking transformation, and 3) A bit easier to think "do I want a 3/3 ground guy or a 2/2 flyer?"

Also note that the previous version is basically a 3/3 with {1} {w} {w} : ~ gains flying until end of turn.

Heh. Well there certainly isn't much point paying the {2} {r} {r} to cast this. {2} {r} seems like quite a hefty upkeep to get to keep this, but I guess tanks are slow to switch in/out of siege mode.

changed to triggered ability to avoid rules issue of casting this on a 1-toughness creature and asking "do I get to Peek at your hand?" Also updated picture.

looting > scry to synergize with salvage and (((Repair))). :) It's much stronger than Wild Guess, but I'm keeping it like this first. Easy to understand anyway.
