Limited to creatures.
If this didn't hit players, it wouldn't have that issue.
If Sift is on par with 'Cycle
' (it's probably better, to be honest), then this is probably too good. Maybe not, though. When would you ever say "I don't need Incinerate"? Reminds me of the card that MaRo considers a 'mistake' - Expunge.
Yeah, I'm unsure of how likely to trigger Survivor is in general.
Seems unlikely to trigger, but a nifty tweak on a landsearch creature that actually makes it a "Don't block me on a 1/3" creature.
Yeah; but writing down extra things is a lot fiddlier than most cards go.
It named multiple things from the beginning. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to simply write down the things you named. That's what I would do. It's what I do if I have multiple "name a card" effects on the board.
A limited number of permanent untaps seems fine to me. Cf Aphetto Alchemist / Ley Druid / Fatestitcher repeatably, or Emerald Charm/Twiddle as a oneoff. This is quite cunning in fact because lands are the most dangerous things to untap, but here you're giving up a mana to do so which rather reduces the acceleration potential.
Yikes. This is now accumulating all the cards? I mean, power-wise I'm sure that's fine (it's not cumulative if you name the same card twice), but logistically that'd be such a pain. "Three turns ago, did you name Journey to Nowhere, or did you change your mind in the end and say Oblivion Ring?"
^was by me, but I hadn't realized I wasn't signed in. Lol.
I like as is and the alternative, but as is I'm a little wary of untapping any ol' permanent. Lol. Also, given the name, I'm reminded of Root Maze, what do you think about making it tap a permanent?
Alternately: "Target creature gets +2/+2 UEOT."
No. This wording requires 4 unique targets per player.
What? No. No, it can't.
I wonder... in a two player game can this target the same two creatures twice?
I forgot about those cards. I disapprove of cascading into non-costed cards. In that case, leave it.
I upped this to uncommon. Jon thought it was too powerful for common, despite Electrickery.
Or 0-drop, which is why cascade is feared on anything less than a 3-drop. (See Living End and Hypergenesis.)
