Weird. Sure. Let's do that.
A thought that just occurred to me: you could probably shrink the reminder text by saying "Move ~ from your graveyard to the bottom of your library:" rather than "Put ~ on the bottom of your library: ... Use[Activate] this ability only if ~ is in your graveyard".
So I have no red Salvage cards? I probably shied away from adding one to help appease those people don't like scry in red. Whatever. 2 in each color it is.
This could have been any casting cost = damage ratio. I just made it 3 and 3. It's nice to have a card you can manipulate for when the rest of red fills in.
Originally, I thought of doing "
, Sorcery, Discard a card", but then I realized that you don't want to cast that spell late in the game. Well, you don't mind drawing a card for
, I suppose, but it didn't help you any.
Woah. I'm a few weeks ahead of my time!
Since Return to Ravnica also reprints it at uncommon, I think people won't kick up too much of a fuss :)
Reprint of Arrest, which does a nice job sneaking my flavor text back into the set. Though it does have one hang up... I reprinted it back in uncommon, and I don't know if many players will be upset with that. I'm probably thinking a bit too much, though.
Added flavor text: Jack just lauded minimalism, and we don't have much room for flavor here, so I opted for a very small quote. Does the context come through?
I'm working on filling out my Salvage slots. Each color gets two, and blue gets 3. Evidently, I thought Marsh Gas needed to be reprinted. I'm not sure why.
So, evidently, this is the Fog effect of the set, because who wants two fog effects per set? It's dangerous matching a fog effect with salvage, but I assume this will be fine.
