I think this needs to move to the rare slot.
EVERYTHING TRAMPLES RARGH!
Ah heck, it's /, let's just get rid of the downside.
RG -> R/G R/G because it's just too annoying to cast right now, and I don't want to drop it.
cost on tap ability, make forgetting the second ability a very bad thing, if your opponent is even half awake.
made the sac symmetrical
Ok - how's about this to fix up the cycle:
Casting cost becomes and sac a land. Making them potential colour fixing, though they use up your land drop. The craft still lets you draw a card - so you've swapped two cards (one a land) for a new card and the crafting.
They're still not big things, but they seem like the sort of thing you'd use sometimes and their cyclability should make them usable.
vigilance->target gets lifelink.
sac -> tap
made a beast again =- don't want TOO many elephants
elk -> elephant
made artifact
add to tap cost
instant -> sorcery
@jmg: That's technically not true. It would gain equip if the card didn't prohibit it; if the creature is an Elemental, then you could activate the equip ability to pump your Ceaseless Searblades. But a creature can't be attached to anything so the ability won't do anything when it resolves.
make artifact creature
Let's make this an artifact creature.
was tranquility; Naturalize is probably more sensible.
give it +1/+0 too
The 'Technology' doesn't exist in multiverse yet. And I figure the 'equipment that copies itself' is an unusual enough thing that it's worth calling out.
Technically, you could probably put the "doesn't gain equip" in (reminder text), since it couldn't do that anyways. Otherwise, the game would get a little nuts every time an artifact-equipment became a creature.
Fortunately, gaining "Equipped creature has all abilities of CARDNAME except equip" doesn't cause a recursive loop, but only because the referent changes with the granted version of the ability, and creatures will obviously never be equipped to things.
Also, "CARDNAME is all colors" should really be using a color indicator now that the technology exists, even though that spits in the card's face a bit. Just another reason why they don't make cards like this.
(Was step ladder)
Ok - so now it's comeuppance for scary mask, needs a bit of flavour text to really cement this in place as a fey-mood though.
Not happy, can't think of a decent green zappy.
second instance of name didn't autoshorten.
AofA->A'sA for shortness.
Okay. I guess that is what it's for. It's just the usage that surprises me, but dude is right; I'd forgotten the Masters Edition example. OK, I guess it's not as outlandish as I thought.
