Hah. The ACC probably does want to cost some mana too. See Raze and Boom // Bust.
But good call on adding a land-destruction spell.
I kinda like the idea of "This land? It's a strip mine now"
But yeah, it's probably too good.
made mountain, instead of land
Seems more reasonable.
Just a shame I can't obsolete stone rain and had to delve into alternate costs, really.
Maybe I'll just slap Strip Mine in as a basic. THAT ought to get some lands in graveyards. (Though it'd probably stop anyone playing with Cistern Drat.)
Did I mention that this concept of "basic" you're using is completely at odds with what the feature/rarity is meant to be used for?
I want "One in every booster". Doesn't it mean that?
Yes. In Master Edition IV, the Urzatron were "printed" as basics. There were no lands with basic land types (other than the dual lands).
Okay. I guess that is what it's for. It's just the usage that surprises me, but dude is right; I'd forgotten the Masters Edition example. OK, I guess it's not as outlandish as I thought.
