it's a caching issue
this is bad enough that I'd call it a bug
Oho, yes, I see the problem as I start writing this comment on my phone!
Multiverse really needs a full mobile view. But this is particularly unusable on mobile so I'll try to fix it up ASAP.
(Link: I think this is to do with the newly deployed position:fixed on card pages, not card popup previews, though they're definitely another area that could work better on mobile too.)
I can't really view the pop-up images at all on my Kindle.
I don't really have a suggestion - this is just a heads-up. Although, many websites can tell what platform you're using. Could the image just be anchored if you're on a mobile device? (Also, no pun intended.)
done, for now
done!
done!
Something like this would be really useful when I'm rapidly filling out a skeleton. I'm currently finding I click to edit one skeleton slot, create a card, and then am lacking either a link to the next/previous few rows in the skeleton, or a button to "save changes and go back to the skeleton". Sometimes I keep the skeleton open in another tab, but I have to refresh (a little slowly) to see which cards have been created.
It's not necessary since you can do it manually, but it would often be useful to have a "copy" operation that duplicated a card to another or the same cardset, if possible copied comment history, and posted a comment to each saying "see this other one".
Obviously it might be more elegant if old comments were shared between the cards, but I imagine the database can't do that.
Use cases: - "this card in multiverse design challenge is cool, I want it in my set without having to manually copy it" - "this card could go in two different directions, I want to create both without manually adding a comment explaining what's going on" - "I want to reprint this card" :)
Mentioned on Card transfer, does the request already exist elsewhere? (Also considerable overlap with Create card related to this one )
this happened a little while back
I agree that for the purpose of a multiverse database, frames without mechanical consequences are unnecessary.
I'd like this too; but yeah, probably a horrible amount of work.
needs a color indicator
no action planned, as per comment
Heh. That's a lot of work you're asking for there, implementing each of those for five colours, gold (including 11 pinlines), artifact, land, ten hybrids, colourless, plus seventeen land frames, plus the token version of all these.
My approach here has been that I'll provide one card render/mockup engine, and if people want other ones, you can design them in MSE, upload them to imgur, and specify an image URL in your cards.
So I theoretically could do this, and it might even be fun, but most other features are rather higher priority.
Stuff not dissimilar to the Time Spiral block boosters in the way they had two separate runs of cards (normal and -shifted)... I'd like to be able to do something like that for Homestuck: The Gathering, where there'll be a Human run and an Alternian run, or with the races of "Lock"/"Stock"/"Barrel".
Comments on details pages have been suggested, but that's all. (Although since the skeleton is just a special details page it'd get it for free from that too.) The rest of this makes sense. Good suggestion; I'll keep it in mind.
I'm referring to allowing comments on the skeleton page in general the way you can comment on the set. I never intended to suggest comment thread for individual skeleton spots.
