Does this kind of card need a clause to ensure you keep it going? Seems too easy to turn it off if it's working out. Something like "when ~ LTB, you lose life equal to the number of counters on it"

This will turn so many games into "Ok, who played first? You win, in 50 turns time."
Yeah... I'm trying to figure out how I beat an opponent who played this card on round two if I don't have enchantment destruction, and they have a single Tome Scour somewhere in their deck.
I thought Clearwater Goblet was oppressive...
