I've added The Prodigy to my list of Pass the Mantle creatures. Still don't know if it's clear or a good idea, but I like the concept.
See Lady Bird and Challenge # 133.
That's pretty neat.
Gahiji sounds like he's from a place where they would do a "fixed" Naya with Ferocious. So I created Wallthrasher Giant and Barkcaller Shaman.
I added The Nightingale.
See Lady Bird and Challenge # 133.
Often multiple generations of superheroes take on the same name and basic power set.
Edited "pass the mantle;" hopefully a frame treatment could make it clearer? Or maybe someone else has a suggestion.
Yes, the intent is that she both has and passes on the abilities. The wording is unclear.
"Whenever ~ is dealt damage, remove all damage it from it" is probably the shortest template that works (since SBAs are checked before triggers happen), but most people wouldn't get that.
Oh yes, good point. Although that was a while ago. Interesting how the flavour is so different!
Google suggests Callous Giant as a possibly-even-simpler implementation of a related effect, though the flavour might need to change to "hard shell" instead of "healing factor".
Magic can cope with this just fine: see Ogre Enforcer! :)
Doomsday Engineer
See Challenge # 133.
Doctor Heal and Mister Macguffin
See Challenge # 133.
See Challenge # 133.
Obviously magic doesn't usually futz around with removing parts of damage, but maybe this template is sufficiently obvious? Basically, it dies as normal, but is immune to double strike, combat-then-shock, and Pyrohemia.
Hold Hostage
See Challenge # 133.
This wording doesn't make it very clear whether she herself has flying and first strike. I assume she's meant to given the cost, but the wording doesn't seem that way to me.
Not only Jack's superhero set, but also the Worm cardset, could be taken wholesale as preemptive entries for this challenge. Going for notes not particularly hit by those (that I remember), I created Fire Villain's Lair and Secret Blueprints.
See Challenge # 133. Ended up rather wordier than I'd wanted :(
I think this is better as it is. If the one good ninja is surrounded by other ninjas, he's not just one ninja any more, is he?
Yes, this is very cool.
ROFL! Awesome.
