http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ur/269 tells us a bit about the courtly scheming in Sydri's city, if not her plane.
Let's try: Overconfident Schemer
Also: Agent of the Black Rose
Also: Deathly Lullaby
Also: Multi-Sentry
Also Mechanical Pup
See Challenge # 132.
The ability is supposed to be usually a drawback, but occasionally an advantage. I don't want to do that often, but it feels like red should have it occasionally.
Throne of Oloro
There's not much info on the planes, so I've mostly gone with cards related to the commanders, but I'm trying to skew towards worldbuilding when I can...
ETA: Also, Goat-herd Giant
See Challenge # 132.
Nekusar's Betrayal
See Challenge # 132.
Hardshell Terrapin -> Hardshell Ancient
See Challenge # 131.
The big grown-up version of Hardshell Terrapin :)
I'm not sure if green gets semi-shroud, but I figure if I think of it as lesser-hexproof it should, though much less commonly than "hexproof except when".
See Challenge # 131.
It occurred to me, "semi-shroud" could serve a useful purpose of never cutting you off from casting spells entirely, but giving a creature reasonable resistance to removal, while also channelling you into using cheap auras on it.
I almost wanted to put an evasion ability on it, like a fixed Invisible Stalker, but nothing except islandwalk would really fit the flavour and I don't want to overuse islandwalk.
See also Hardshell Ancient
Haha, cool!
Flametongue Kavu (And Firemaw Kavu) -> Firegantuan Kavu
See Challenge # 131.
Woo, lets see if we can make Flametongue Kavu even splashier!
That's hilarious. It feels on the powerful side, but you're probably mana-screwing yourself if you activate this on turn 3. I suspect 6 +1/+1s would be plenty.
Kraken Pup making Kraken Hatchling scary :)
See Challenge # 131.
An updated Kraken Hatchling -- I wanted to take the most innocuous creature I could find and ask how it could be scary :)
I considered giving it trample or conditional-hexproof as well but I wasn't sure so I left it simple.
Toxic Rats updating Typhoid Rats although technically typhoid rats wouldn't be reprinted in the set.
See Challenge # 131.
Obviously an update on Typhoid Rats to make it more significant prey for a planeswalker. After making a couple of other cards that did it in passing, it occurred to me that it would be possible to directly make a card that's more dangerous prey for planeswalkers, rather than being big and stompy.
(Obviously there wouldn't be a new keyword for this card alone. Either the rules text would be spelled out, or the toxic would replace deathtouch for this set, or forever.)
That is, not one that has been assigned to a plane, such as Jeleva.
There is no requirement that the card or plane be multicolored.
