"Arrives" terminology
I felt like 2/2 was a safe P/T to start with since there's a (very slim) chance it comes with 4 more bodies + lands, but it much be overly conservative.
I'm not sure why I gave it active instead of vigilance. Active is my concept for a
evergreen keyword that's not hexproof, but it's fairly similar to vigilance, especially on creatures with no
ability.
So this untaps every untap phase. Given it's a 2/2 with no tap ability, that feels oddly out of place. Is it meant as a puzzle piece?
The "Get some land, each one comes with an insect" is nice, though.
Removed "As combat damage us dealt, you may choose to have it dealt as though its source head faze." This card is doing enough already, I think.
See Trio of Jailers.
It woulda been nicer to somehow figure out a way for the first abilty to also apply outside of combat (maybe it just does; I mean, spells don't have P/T of 0/0, they just don't have them). But this is fine.
Cheapness is stupidly hard to evaluate for a card as bonkers as this. I think it's probably ok to be really cheap; since it's only really stupid-effective once there's several creatures in play.
Vitenka: I could easily add the word "combat" in the second ability.
I think it might be too cheap? I'm also not sure if giving it the first and second parts is too much for one card.
I'm glad you like it, though. :)
Because I needed to check: (Faze: Use power rather than toughness to determine lethal damage to creatures marked with faze damage.)
So; um; gibber. Things in combat deal damage equal to power, toughness, or mana. And things whether in or out of combat take damage equal to power or toughness. Your choice. Oh! And +1 and -1 counters only affect toughness now. It sure seems potent. But it is gonna paralyse combat completely, just because "My attack phase... I'm gonna need to think about what could happen. A lot... You know what? Forget this. Main2."
Unless every creature in the set is Grizzly Bears. Then it'll be fine :)
Still, it's a cube. You get to have bazonkers effects in cubes. Go for it. Though that "first ability is combat only, second ability is everything" is gonna be a nasty sticking point. Maybe find a way to fix this?
Wow. For every instance of damage anywhere. That's pretty potent (and also would be a total pain to implement online). It completely hoses most creature tokens from the opponent, makes most opposing Walls very vulnerable too, and generally lets you Doran or reverse-Doran any time you like.
I love the idea. I don't know if it'll turn out too fiddly to play in practice, but it definitely seems worth a try.
