Yick! You're saying this is meant to cast Repelevery turn? Not only is that out of colour, it's also completely obscene. "You get no more draw steps unless you decide to stop casting creatures and wait for me to bounce all your creatures. Have fun."

For contrast, I'd say yes. I dislike it when humans or other sentient creatures have a race type but no class type, as was done with many of the "villager" cards in Innistrad and elsewhere; either that or they're given some absurd mismatched type like Scout or Advisor. I think "Townsfolk" or similar is a good thing. (The Smith could be type Artificer, if you wanted, but the Butcher and Farmer want some kind of class type and there aren't any currently supported suitable ones.)
(For similar reasons I also support the creature types Merchant and Noble, and usethem in my sets.)
Yikes! That's a terrifyingly powerful ability. At least the land doesn't actually produce mana, which puts it in a weird spot, but I think this card would be overpowered:
Artifact
, : Target player sacrifices a creature at random.
And this is better than that (isn't as easily removed or countered, filters mana a bit).
I fear the activation should cost at least 6. Either that or remove the "at random". Even casting Cruel Edict every turn for 5 mana is very strong... so yeah, I think the cost needs to go up and you need to remove the "at random".
Yeah, comparing cards to Hymn To Tourach is on the list of things Vitenka isn't allowed to do any more.
Still, this is only a single discard, and so not quite as dangerous; as it's costing you a card and them a card. Random is pretty nasty though - this will have the effect of winning the game on turn 1 maybe 2/7ths of the time you get it, just by hitting their critical land.
Leading to horrible grindy games and not really letting you know why it was so bad. (Hymn, well, at least if you hit both their lands it was done on turn 2, so they'd got one or two down already; and maybe they'd even started a beatdown on you - and if it hits 2 lands you knew you were doomed and could just fold.)
So yeah; make this a sorcery and.. well, everything above STILL applies. But at least it avoids potential complete "You draw? Ok, discard it" lockdowns, which are just horribly un-fun.

That card is very powerful and would never see print in a standard-legal set, as far as I know. It's also not instant speed.
I believe that abilities can't trigger from hidden zones. I suppose I could be mistaken.
No. There's practically no reason to do so.
Vote: Should I reintroduce the creature subtype "Townsfolk" for the recently created legend cycle?
Thanks, represents Garrow dying, if you remember the book.
